Any thoughts out there for those of us who can't handle Grains what do you think about Legumes. They are also Polysaccharides like Grains which give me the best energy and not the Monosaccharides like Fruit. I could add half a can of Black Beans on top of my salads and see how it goes. I just hope these are o.k. for us Grain sufferers.....6/3

As far as I know, they're fine. My mom, with the severe ceilac, eats them (all different kinds) with no problems.

You can have everything but the gluten grains 6'3". Of course you can have legumes. They are loaded with B vitamins and together with grains like brown rice; amaranth, quinoa, millet, make a complete protein.

The Eden Foods website has some great recipies for grains and legumes

Eden Foods - Beans - Recipes

Now they even sort recipes by diet on their website - its REALLY COOL!

You can do wheat free or gluten free and select the ingredient you want to cook. Above, I selected, gluten free and beans and those recipes all came up.
