Yup, there is an obesity epidemic in America. We are one of the most obese nations on the planet. What is concerning now is childhood obesity. It is a HUGE issue. America is projected to be ~60% obese by 2030. This means that not only are WE obese but OUR children are obese as well, and they will grow up to be obese adults. 60% also means that for the first time in history, the majority of Americans will be considered obese. Keep in mind that this is not simply being overweight, it is being OBESE.
