I am not feeling pain, just this weird feeling of being "stuffed up" in my right ear when I get up in the morining first thing...cannot hear too good out of it. Later in the day the feeling goes away and I can hear again. Is there a term for this condition? Thanks
I am very careful. I don't stick anything in my right ear when this is going on or anytime. I just wondered if this was normal or not. I have an air purifier by my bed.
Sometimes that happens to me and usually it means an excess of ear wax. One thing I do sometimes is to put some hydrogen peroxide in your ear like someone else said. Then lead your head sideways so it stays in and doesn't fall out. It's a weird feeling and you can hear it working away at the inside of your ear. Once it stops fizzing, dump it out and try to clear out year ear, and you should see a bunch of wax come out.
Also helps when you are in the shower to turn your head to the stream and let the stream hit down your ear canal, it sort of pressure washes excess wax out.
You might have ear wax build-up. Put some hydrogen peroxide in the ear to the opening. If it foams a lot you may indeed have wax build-up. When my son did this we put peroxide in his ear a few times to loosen everything up and then gently squeezed warm water inside the ear with a baby's nasal suction bulb. You can also go to the doctor and they can remove it or check if you have an infection.
I had this and it drove me crazy. I did the hydrogen peroxide and ear wax treatments but they did not work. I then got my husband to flush my ear with warm water. We used a bulb that he squeezed the water into my ear with. The wax came out and I felt so much better.
