The blueberry as a "superfood" was totally made up during a bumper crop of blueberries.

I am not arguing their deliciosity. I am saying that touting them as something they're not was a sales pitch...I like being informed as to what my food can really do for me, so I'm making sure people know they were sold a barrel of lies (carton?).

I have two huge bushes that are loaded with berries every year. I get so many berries I can't eat them all.

Is this an advertisement from the "National Blueberry Growers of America"?

Sure sounds like one.

Sure does. I wonder if the OP even wrote it or was it a quote?

I love blueberries though. Only the small wild ones, not the huge watery tasteless ones. This summer I want to find a place where they grow wild but those places are getting very hard to find. In the winter I buy the wild frozen berries but to sit or stand out in a field of blueberries, eating a few & getting a blue tongue while you plop most of them into a pail--that is heaven. Next best thing to eating them when you get home.
