i often take a dose of Mylanta before bedtime to reduce the possibility of an acid reflux attack during sleep whenever i have a sleep apnea attack

a pharmacist told me that Mylanta is for gas, and to take Maalox instead for that

I bought some Maalox and took a dose before sleep last nite. today i noticed that i was not nauseous during the day(a chronic problem with me the past few months) like i usually am and my appetite was far better.

i do take victoza and metformin for Diabetes which do suppress the appetite so that could have something to do with it but as i say i noticed a big difference today

is it possible the Maalox helped?
