Cataract and disc are like sand in my eye? (surgery, eyes, cause)

I've had this surgery in January and it seem all is well, but most every morning it feels like I have sand in my eyes.

Any ideas?

Did not have that hapoen, my surgeries were in Jan. 2011. I think you should call your surgeon's office.

I know when my eyes feel like they have sand in them it is because they are too dry. I get a good artifical tear and put that in them (it may burn at first) and they then will feel better.
