The other week I got a new "health" gadget. I kept seeing ads for these all over the place, and then I saw an article about it:
https://jawbone.com/up?r=awup1&gclid...FWfhQgodBSUAGw

I know some people have fitbits and so on. To track daily activity.

I ended up getting the Jawbone for a few reason:
1. armband form factor
2. rave reviews about the sleep tracking
3. alarm option with "smart" alarms
4. little reminder to move, it vibrates on customizable intervals if you have been inactive too long

It is interesting to see how many steps I take in a day. But what I have really found interesting is the sleep tracking. The amount of deep sleep and light sleep vs total hours. Hopefully I'll notice some pattens so I can make sure I get the optimal amount!
