My GF has hypoglycemia and gets migraines when her blood sugar is not right. She has stumbled upon a remedy and wants to share it. She has found that drinking regular Mountain Dew and eating chocolate and peanut butter provides relief in 10 minutes or less.

The darker the chocolate the better. Other caffeinated drinks, including diet Mountain Dew or old school/throwback Mountain Dew, don't seem to work nearly as well. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups don't work as well as a chocolate bar and peanut butter from a jar.

We hope this helps somebody.

Wow thanks. At least I'll enjoy trying it.

Interesting.

Dark chocolate is one of my migraine triggers. The darker the chocolate, the more likely I am to get a migraine.

Correct.

For those that are not from low blood sugar.
A friend who was in a bed all day with them, but no more, told me at the first instant
you feel or sense one is coming on ...take 3 aspirin, period.
Well, I'll be darned if she isn't right!

I flash of reflected sun in my eyes can be a trigger and an hr later I will have the
'crescent of sparkles' as a warning...within 10 minutes it all goes away and never developes.

So simple.
