Old at Age 3: The Story of Zachary Moore is a compelling and courageous tribute to author Keith Moore’s son, Zachary, who died of “old age” at the young age of 3. Zachary was one of just eleven American children known to be living with Progeria, a rare, fatal, “rapid aging” disease that afflicts children. Zachary’s condition resulted in aging 30 times faster than the normal aging rate. “We’ve had the opportunity to see life in fast-forward.”

I watched a documentary about Progeria a few months ago and was shocked by what I saw. It's so sad.

Very sad. These little kids have to deal with arthritis and joint pains, and they usually die by age 13 of heart attack or stroke. Imagine having your youth stripped away from you before you have a chance to enjoy it.
