My friend has been having sex a lot but she has yet to get pregnant and she does it when she is ovulating but still nothing happens what is she doing wrong?

Not necessarily anything.
She and her husband should visit her OBGYN to be sure nothing is medically wrong.
Until then tell her to have her husband wear boxers, not briefs.
Also, elevating her hips after sex for at least 30 minutes would be helpful.

Ding ding. It doesn't always happen like it does in the movies. I would suggest they both get checked out, start taking prenatal pills, and go at it. I find it's always easier just letting it come- rather than "trying" to get pregnant.

I don't know why this strikes me funny. Really, she could be infertile for a bunch of reasons. I doubt that she is doing it wrong. Many of us did it wrong, but still managed to get pregnant.
If she is not successful after a year, then she should see a fertility specialist.

How old is she and how long has she been trying? Younger people in general tend you get pregnant quicker (although they can certainly have infertility problems just like anyone else). If she has been trying for over a year then she should see a good OB/GYN. If she has only been trying a few months then she needs to just relax. The thing is this...people have this idea that more is better. They think to have a baby they should have a ton of sex and that is not correct. The more semen a man produces, the less sperm it contains, so a person is actually lessening their chances of getting pregnant if they are having sex 5 times a day. What doctors suggest is having sex once every other day around the time of ovulation. That gives the man time to build up his sperm count again.
Many people think it is really easy to get pregnant in general. For some people it is easy, but for the most part it takes months for a perfectly healthy fertile woman to get pregnant.

If none of the "above suggestions" work,.......tell her I'll loan her my 1950 Mercury convertible...........That back seat on a "hot Summer night" (back in the '50s) worked every time
Exactly, when you're not trying and relaxed it happens...plus all the above
suggestions.
Sometimes that "trying" is what stops the process....you adopt, tension is gone and then,
Bingo, you get pregnent.
I happens so much.
