I have Strange abdominal pain as well, haven't had pain for weeks now, did blood work, and doc just called me today to get a follow up, he said my calcium level is high. Not sure if it's kidney stone.
OP, keep in mind that you do not have to have gallstones to have a diseased gallbladder and need it removed. I became suddenly ill years ago and had the pain under my right ribcage area and then it shot through into my back. No OTC meds were touching the pain. I finally went to the ER and they did all kind of tests on me, including 2 gallbladder series, nothing. They finally told me they thought it was still my gallbladder but didn't know. They said they would begin laparoscopic surgery on me and if it did not look like it was my gallbladder they would open me up and do exploratory surgery to find the cause. It turned out I had a very diseased gallbladder, they removed it and I was just fine.
I also have unexplained pain but it is on my left side just above the belly button. I have went to my doctor and the emergency room but everything comes out fine. Any suggestions on what is going on with me.

What tests did they do?
If everything came out find, it could be as simple as gas. That can hurt like hell.
