After three days of a severe headache I woke up this morning with less of a headache but distorted hearing.
This is how it is:
My voice sounds distorted and muffled but loud in my left ear.
Higher pitched sounds make a weird vibration in my left ear and seem very irritating.
Sound entering my RIGHT ear creates a weird chime sound of one note in my LEFT ear when a sound is happening. There is no tinnitus or sounds in the absence of a sound entering my ear(s).
Everything just sounds wrong. Maybe there is some hearing loss as well. Suddenly happened. I don't have any obvious congestion in my head that I know of.
Well I think this sucks. I have no desire to go deaf. I hope that isn't happening. What the hell causes this to happen? Any ideas please someone about how to restore normal hearing? Why would this happen overnight?
Honestly, it sounds like a severe ear wax buildup. Clean it up or go to the doc.
