Had both of these done today (under twilight sleep). I feel like crap. And yes, I'm lying down and drinking water.

That is all.

Sorry you feel like crap.

I have to have a hysteroscopy and D&C on Thursday, that will probably be equally miserable.

I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks. Yeah. you'll likely feel like crap. Won't the D&C mean an overnight in the hospital?

No, it's outpatient surgery and I'm having twilight sedation rather than general anesthesia so that hopefully I'll be out of there quicker.

The idea is to get out fast enough that I don't have to eat anything at the hospital

I had a prostate biopsy about a year and a half ago ... it was an awful experience.

My urine was red for about 3 weeks and my semen was pink for about 6 weeks!

This is my 2nd one in 2 years. My PSA count is wonky, it goes up and then goes down and then goes up again, so the urologist keeps scratching his head.

The last one wasn't as bad as yours, I was in the goose blind the 2nd day after. Which, in retrospect, might have been pushing it.

My urine cleared up after a couple days then.

I'm glad I was out yesterday instead of awake.

Update:

Call from urologist a few minutes ago. Prostate biopsy came back clean. No explanation for my wonky PSA numbers.
