I would love to know if anyone has had this or seen this before.....
I have tiny (size of the tip of a needle) blood spots that appear on my face on and off and they don't hurt it's not a lot of blood just a tiny spot that if I tough it smears. It is really strange and if you are not looking in the mirror closely you wouldn't see it. I have gone to 2 dermatologist and they say they have never seen anything like it and have no idea what it is.
I almost would think it would have something to do with thin blood but really I don't know.I have looked on various medical websites (such as webmd) and have not found anything.
I know it sounds strange, kinda freaked me out the first time -LOL
So have you seen this before??

broken facial capillaries perhaps? Ususally people get them after vomiting but it may be vascular related as well and yes thin blood is a culprit.

Yes, I get these tiny red dots on all places of my body. Go get them zapped!

P.S. They are not capillaries...

What are they then Green, cuz I have them too. Once I got one, they seemed to spread all over, I was going to see a dermatoligist(sp) about it when I could. Really I was scared when they started popping up, now I just try to not worry about them.

I forget what they are called! But you get them as you get older. I have little red dots on my legs, arms, abdomen. I went to my dermatologist and she just went around zapping each one.

I have them too- on my arms, and some on the area above my *whisper* breasts. I asked a dermatologist about them and she said they're no cause for concern and people only do something about them for cosmetic reasons

Maybe we have a zap-the-red-dots party, where we all drink wine (or egg nog), share stories about men and get zapped. Wouldn't that be fun? Can you see us all sitting around and the nurse yells out, "Oh, Ladies, Helga is next!!!!"

Petechiae are small purura spots, ie, miniscule blood vessel hemmorages on the skin.
