I saw this article and got a good laugh. It appears that being a Vegetarian isn't so healthy after all, according to this study. So don't feel guilty about that steak or ham, or a big juicy hamburger. You're eating food that will make you healthier.
Interesting article, but I always want to know who funded a study before I give much weight to its results. The Medical University of Graz in Austria may have done the work, but someone else probably paid them to do so and I wouldnt be surprised if the sponsor was related to the meat industry.
Oops. I saw the thread that was started two hours after yours, about the same topic, and posted there: "Good News for all us non-vegetarians". Maybe a mod will combine the two threads.
Yes of course. But regular run of the mill meat will make you sick. The only sources of meat you should consume should be local, organic, grassfed/pasture reaised. Conventional meat is poison.
Actually I've noticed in the past that people in "health food stores" do not look so healthy!
I've noticed that, too. I'm a healthy looking 5'10, 200 pound meat and dairy eater and I'm usually the biggest guy in Whole Foods ... most of them look sickly with skinny arms and no ass, then I see them smoking black cigarettes outside.
