As of late, my skin feels like it has been baked and is very hot to touch. Its very annoying, especially in the afternoon when I literally burn up due to body heat.

I went to the doctor and have been confirmed that I have a healthy blood pressure and zero illnesses. My body weight is more or less ideal. Then why am I feeling so hot. This internal body heat is making it hard for me to sleep tonight.

Can someone PLEASE help me out here . Why does my skin literally burn up on warm & sunny days. On these days, I am unable to cool down without dipping into cold water. I don't sweat a drop, but the burning sensation in afternoon is followed by a period of sluggishness. It feels like some kind of fire inside my body. It happens around afternoon when my skin feels hot & dry. This is followed by sluggishness. Then comes a period of mild headaches. Finally, I feel like my body is begging for water.

Are you darker skinned? You could be dehydrated, too. Darker toned skin can heat up quickly. Think about a white/silver car vs a chocolate brown/black one. Darker colors absorb heat quicker.

By nature, I have lightly to moderately tanned skin.

If your doctor doesn't know what's going on, than I suggest seeing a different doctor.

The doc shouldn't just brush off your symptoms so easily.

Extreme thirst makes me think diabetes, the other symptoms make me think hot flashes. But, only a doctor can examine you, do tests, and help you feel better.

If you're outside, especially if you're active when doing so, you may be working yourself into heat exhaustion with the symptoms described. You need to stay hydrated.

Heat Exhaustion: Symptoms and Treatment

The not sweating is the only symptom you don't have.

You know, it hasn't really even been hot yet.

OP check with a neurologist, you could have disorder that a specialist needs to check you for. For example my wife has MS and constantly has hot skin and drinks a lot of water daily.

Adi, I guess you are a man, how old are you?
Does the warm feeling occurs only when your skin is directly exposed to the sun, only when it's hot outside or it lasts all day?
Does your skin appears red when it's hot, and when someone touches your arms, does he say they feel excessively warm? Is it mainly trunk or limbs which feel warm?
Do you know your normal body weight and have you lost weight recently? Sudden weight loss may be from dehydration.
How much water do you drink per day?
Do you take any drugs or supplements?
Have you ever suffered from any chronic disease?
Has something occurred recently what could make you anxious?

It depends upon the type of food you are having these sunny days. What kind of exercise you have daily and it will be better to drink more water and consult with a doctor first.
