Often when a doctor can't help because he has run out of drugs in which to treat you, you have to find alternatives. He surely isn't going to do that for you.

It comes from bovine I believe. Dentists use it to rebuild bones in the mouth. I am not sure what form they use.

the bone is from the long bones of cows... i believe they are raised in nz... but they are raised specifically for this purpose.

the other thing to look at is...
taking calcium is good, but if your body won't accept it, or use it.... it may not give you the results you want.
osteo is a symptom of an imbalance, not the only problem. not saying it should not be addressed, but don't forget to put out the fire, as well as shutting off the alarm.

not many people are vitamin d deficient. if you do decide to take vit d, don't over do it... there is a toxicity level and the side effects are irreverible.
bone scans provide good information as far as where you are today in terms of bone density.
there is another test that we will now be offering, and can be done at home(have to send in a urine sample to the lab)... called an osteo mark test... that will tell you how fast you are losing calcium. in my opinion this is more important. if you are excreting calcium, then simply taking cal tabs won't have the desired effect.
