If you have this, you would absolutely need to go to a doctor immediately. My boyfriends dad has persistant angina and he takes aspirin as well as blood thinners and pain medicine for it.

angina pectoris can be hit by anyone of any age. especially if the family has had someone who had a cardiovascular disease in the past.

Dude;

Do yourself a favor and look up the disease before you make random comments, angina pectoris CANNOT occur in anyone of any age.

Find ONE case report of ischemic chest pain in a child.....

It's pretty unlikely that a child would develop angina. Angina is caused my mycardial ischemia (lack of oxygen to the heart muscle), which is usually caused by blockages in the cornary arteries. These blockages usually take a few decades to develop. I child of 11 probably does not have enough blockage to cause ischemia (although I have seen people as young as 23 have myocardial infactions). Although it's unlikely that the child has angina, that doesn't mean that she doesn't have a different cardiac problem. There are other things that cause chest pain in children. If the pain persists you should take her to her pediatrician.

Extreme anxiety can cause angina, I know. Can an 11 year old be that anxious? I don't know, anythings possible.

I have acid reflux and sometimes it feels similar to angina.

YOU are the one who made a flippant remark to a poster asking if an 11 year can suffer from angina...

The correct answer is....NO an 11 yo CANNOT suffer from angina, not "anyone of any age can suffer from angina" patently UNTRUE.

While children can and do suffer from cardiac anomalies that may cause chest pain, they CANNOT develop angina at 11...not possible.
