Actually, I feel horrible every day, that's why I have to take meds. As for addiction potential, sometimes you have to take medication and that's part of the package. I wouldn't take drugs if I didn't have to.

I understand. I understand pain in the physical sense. Do you get any side effects?

I had a serious medical emergency 3 years ago (almost exactly - Christmas morning 2004) and after that I ended up being prescribed beaucoup medications, including a 325 aspirin a day (cardiologist), cholesterol, anti-seizure/neuropathic pain, diuretic (not necessarily for bp, but considered a bp drug), ssri for migraine, etc. I like to think that you would never look at me and think I was on all of the heart medley. There are only two of these prescriptions that I need to take daily to avoid symptoms (totaling 4 pills); the others are just preventative for the underlying things. I answered "6" but honestly I'm not sure how to count everything since we decided to split up one of my prescriptions into smaller units to take throughout the day, etc.

Actually Lyrica, but I did try Topamax at one point. I really wanted it to work, but it didn't. I just mean the big aspirin, cholesterol, and 'blood pressure' (for me it's just for edema, but they don't mind keeping my blood pressure as low as possible).
