My diabetic doctor has started me on these Insulin Pens for the first time. The needle is real short. Looks like a 1/4 inch long. The name of pen is Lantus SoloStar.

I started using the Novolin Novopen (clever name, eh?) a few years ago. I think they're definitley a lot more convenient than syringes.

The problem I'm having now is giving myself a shot for the first time. Never did like needles.
