To get an extra 14 years of life, don't smoke, eat lots of fruits and vegetables, exercise regularly and drink alcohol in moderation.

Wise words but lets also remember its not the years in your life, its the life in your years.

Even still though, not smoking, eating lots of fruits and veggies, excersie, and low alcohol intake will bring more life to your years as well as years in your life.

Even today a lot of people dont understand the importance of a healthy diet as well as exercise. It drives me crazy how (it seems) everyone in the world is on some sort of anti depressant or sleep medication when they could simply change their diet or excercise patterns. 99% of people who take anti-depressant/sleep medication dont need to..and i think its just terrible that this stuff isnt taken seriously.

Apparently, most people seem to think that common sense has been outlawed. They would rather....ask their doctor....like they have been trained ( brainwashed? ) to do.

99%? Where are you getting that figure?
I completely disagree with you. I feel people do not take depression seriously enough! Yes, there are people that need to excercise more. There is no way that u can substitute it for treatment of depression and sleep disorders.

Oh yeah, people ARE brainwashed! More so than you think. Have you ever noticed that it's everywhere..
before starting an exercise program, ask your doctor. lol
Watch tv commercials and don't forget to ask your doctor for the 20 or so pills advertised that day.

Whenever i start an exercise program, I ask my cats if it's ok. They don't care.
