Ask your doctor about prescribing Sildenafil instead of Viagra. Less than half the price and the main ingredient is the same.

Since my sexual activity is "infrequent" rather than "in frequent" I get free samples from my MD on every visit. He usually sends me home with 5 or 6 doses and some that are double power that I split in half. I never knew they were that expensive, I'll have to thank him for his generosity.

Isn't that the generic name for Viagra? I'm not aware that it's prescribed in generic form in the US.

It is now. Ask the pharmacy folks at Sams about it.

Even less. Just over a dollar when you buy 50 of the Generic.

That's when a generic version comes out in the US.

Generic Cialis should be out about the same time.
and may be sold over the counter without a prescription if the FDA approves.

The US patent on Viagra expires in 2020.
That's when a free for all will happen.
Expect per pill charge to be less that $1
There already is a generic version called Sildenafil which is the original name for formula. After all it was developed originally for heart problems not sex; that was side effect found in testing.

You're right. I even looked on some Medicare Advantage formularies and saw that it's covered on those too with prior authorization. It's under the category of pulmonary anti -hypertensives. It also seems that one of the health plans covered a low dosage of only 20 mg. I need to check the Viagra dosages again.

The reduced price is a con, another is that under this name your wife/SO might be willing to carry it in her purse while passing through airport security, as opposed to trying to persuade her to be your viagra mule.

How much persuading should she need? I mean... doesn't she also benefit from a successful navigation through customs? Hehe... but... while I am being a smartarse, let me also say this. Totally serious now. I said I am serious now! Lets get real. $2.00 Viagra? But we can agree that the vetted Pfizer product is extortionate in its pricing. I checked, and Canadian Pharmacy does not offer Viagra. They are not allowed to sell it. This was a couple of years ago, but still, I would be suspicious of any "Canadian Pharmacy" that claims to have Viagra for $15.00/pill. That's still an outrageous amount of money to pay for an erection.

Especially when there are other ways. I mean... lets be even more real. Viagra does not work miracles. You already have to be in a certain ballpark of health and fitness, etc. to use it. Also it is very likely that lowered testosterone levels are contributing to lowered erection quality and frequency. Sshhh.... don't give them any ideas, but at present, the people who make generic Testosterone haven't yet got it into their heads that they should price the stuff like Cancer medication! Most aging baby-boomers need the stuff anyway and we could all use some more time on the treadmill or rowing machine. Anyone within the sound of my keyboard suffering from Viagra sticker shock should definitely investigate their candidacy for male hormone replacement, and make strides to improve their overall health and fitness through adequate nutrition and nutrition supplementation and exercise. Go get 'em tigers.
