Vitamin D baby. That's where it's at man.

Sunscreen is chock full of chemicals that are much worse than sunlight.

See phthalates

The people in the pacific northwest must be very unhealthy.

However that doesnt sound right at all....sunscreen is worse than sunlight??? Man if you dont wear sunscreen youll get sun poisoned and ultimately skin cancer, not to mention severe burns.

Usually i put sunscreen on my face and legs and i wear a thin wet suit on my torso.

Yeah, the suns great for you, TO A CERTAIN EXTENT.

If you go to long you risk of skin cancer and premature aging (wrinkles at an early age). And that's not good. And you should wear sunscreen (I don't know what kind you are/were using that you say has bad chemicals in it, but if you want to stay exposed and get skin cancer, be my guest).

For years, wearing sunscreen, I have better looking skin than a lot of people here in Arizona who never wore sunscreen. They have skin like leather and look like they're old people already...YUCK!!!

Read the ingredients label...........OK? Now, would you eat it? Would you squirt the ingredients of the bottle into your mouth. NO! you wouldn't. Because you would get sick, maybe. SO........ all of these chemicals get absorbed into you body, into your bloodstream and some settle and collect in your organs, muscles and fat tissue............ this is what causes cancer, a buidup of chemicals over a long period of time. Wait till your older and your skin looks great and not wrinkled while your sitting in the radiation treatment room and your hair is falling out. Nice skin though!

dennis i dont believe youve done any research on this.

I wouldn't eat shampoo or soap, tooth paste/mouth wash, shaving cream but i put them on my body.

Chemicals is a very broad term. You're talking like sunscreen is molecular acid.

/shrug, i would think there would be a lot of publicity on sun tan lotion if it caused cancer, like smoking.

what about hand cream or other body lotions that arent washed off?

Please read this................. if there was publicity then the companies would go out of business and wouldn't buy advertising space in the pubications or media outlets that exposed them. It's all business.

Hand cream....petroleum, phthalates

body lotions ....petroleum, phthalates

Would you surf if there were globs of oil or tar floating around and sticking to you?

I use organic olive oil for my skin, either ingested or applied topically.

Dude! DON"T EAT WHAT THE MEDIA IS FEEDING YOU.!
