I'm curious and taking a poll: when you come down with a cold, do you get fever, or not?

Today I'm home from work sick!

I might even take tomorrow off as well, I'll wait until morning and decide then.

It kind of felt like a cold, started feeling a little crummy on Sunday and yesterday I went to work. I had a meeting scheduled at 1:00 and as luck would have it it was put off until 3:30 or I would have bugged out at noon. All day I felt worse by the hour at as soon as the meeting was over, I should have cancelled because I was at the bottom of my "game" so to speak, I went home and went to bed!

Bed, as in bed under the covers at 5:30!

Wife took my temperature which was at 99.6 but at 67 years old that kicked my rear end I tell ya!

I told everyone at work I didn't feel well and to stay away from me and the meeting was 70 miles away so I didn't spend a whole lot of time there anyway.

So today I stayed home and did nothing, drank two quarts of orange juice and constantly fed on my dear wife's home made vegetable soup. She makes great home made soup.

All day I went between the bedroom and my study with occasional trips to the bathroom but without the drama. It's after 6:00 and I am thinking of taking a shower but I might not.

I kind of enjoyed taking today off and probably will again tomorrow. I get sick every few years and I may as well enjoy it.

Cough seems to be breaking up.
