I'm not complaining but just wondering why I'll feel blah, a bit of a scratchy throat for a day and doesn't amount to anything? Sometimes I've even gotten a low grade fever and then a few hours later or the next day it's gone. I used to get sick at least once or twice a year but in the last 4 years I've only gotten 1 bad cold. All the others are just I feel something coming on and then it's gone.
Seems to me if I have already had a particular strain of cold/flu, then the next time I get it or something similar, it is not as bad.
If I've never had it before, I could be sick and miserable for days. I especially noticed this when moving to another city when I was younger - the colds and so forth I got were exceptionally nasty the first year living there.
I'd go with the "good immune system" theory! Good for you...that's what immune systems are supposed to do!
