What a world. I haven't eaten non-organic strawberries, which I love, for decades. Since aspartame is a neuro-toxin (I'm not debating or going into this again) and Monsanto layers Round-up on agricultural products and people eat it, this should not be surprising.

A great reason to grow your own. There's a variety for nearly every plant zone.

The blog is misleading because it says that chloropicrin is used "on" strawberries. That is not true. The product is applied to the soil, not to the plants themselves. It is used 14 or more days before planting and breaks down in the soil to carbon dioxide, nitrate, and chloride, which are all plant nutrients. It is neither "on" nor "in" the strawberries themselves.

When I am back in NY in June, we go to a small Organic Farm on Long Island that has pick your own. Lot of fun. Two for me. Two for the basket. lol By the time all of strawberries bought home are eaten, I have had my fill of strawberries for another year.

wow and I have been eating them for years. I guess I better watch out, at almost 80, I might die in the next few years. I will tell the kids "blame it on strawberries"

I can't believe how gulliable some people are. gee, we had better tell the schools about this, they may be poisoning our kids.

Not much in the way of food these days that isn't full of toxins, chemicals and/or preservatives. Most dairy products are bad due to the hormones given to cows (one of the proposed causes of breast cancer).

Aside from what we eat; there are also unhealthy chemicals used in the products we 'inject' through our skin that adversely affects our health: lotion, shampoo, hair spray, detergent/fabric softener, deodorant, etc.

What about cleaning products and air fresheners?

We are constantly bombarded with products that are unhealthy, nothing new.
