Drinking = Midwest.
Are you sure it's not a Central NY thing?
And hey....Coors is made from pure mountain spring water!
If you don't get a headache, you're good.

In NY it would be..."Forgetaboutit"...see, so I guess there IS a difference.

Ask the guys with the beer bellies who've been sitting in the bar every night since they've turned twenty-one. They'll tell you, "Heck no. Six is nothing compared to how much I drink now." That should reassure you.

If you do not know whether its because you need to or want to then quit for a month and see how it goes. If you can make it a month without cheating or feeling terrible then you do it because you like to, not because you need to. If you cannot make it a week then you have a problem.

I think the OP already knows the answer to his own question.... otherwise he wouldn't even be asking it.

The answer is yes...a 6-pack of beer every night is not good for your health. Plain and simple.

Drinking = Midwest.

And I like it, I don't know if I need it or not. I've drank about every day since I turned 21 so almost 15 years.

In your life perhaps but not the thousands of others in and from the Midwest.
It is an excuse to drink cheap beer every night.

I was raised in the heart of the Midwest and still live in the Midwest and I haven't had one drink of alcohol for more than a year and have gone more than 5 years without drinking any alcohol..........

Try again but find something actually true to blame your drinking on.

As a recovering alcoholic i was at that 6 beer a night routine,over the course of several years it slowly crept up to 8 beer a night then 10 then due to increased weight gain a switch from beer to Vodka and/or Gin.IMO its not a midwest culture thing its borderline alcoholic thing,you might want to knock your drinking back to a can or two a night if you are able or just save the occasional 6 pack for the weekends.

Well if you are not an alcoholic, then you can easily not drink any beer or alcoholic beverages for a week! Try it and see what happens...
