He just came back from the doctor. I knew it had to be bad for him to go on his own.
For more than a week he has complained about ear ache and not being able to hear. Doctor used combination of Colase (yes constipation med) and baking soda (or was it powder) and warm water. Hd his rest for 5 minutes with that in his ear, then nurse came to flush his ear out.

He said the pain was enough to make him almost pass out. Large chunks of ear wax came out with each flushing. Doc said he had a slight infection and gave him some antibiotic drops.

He has never had excess ear wax, does not put q tips down his ears. Doc does not know what caused this. Could it be allergies or pollen accumulation? Don't laugh. Here in NC the pine pollen is called the yellow plague and it covers our homes, cars, sidewalks, roads. It's terrible.

Very curious about what could possibly have caused this and especially at this stage of his life.
