Remember when you'd hear someone was 100 and you thought "wow" (ears, child)

As a Child of the 80's and a teen in the 90's I used to think for someone make it to 100 years old was truly amazing! Now at the ripe old age of 29, its not as shocking or surprising to hear someone is over 100. I'm not sure if its me getting older or its really becoming more common now. Or both Just had to get that out

I'm currently 58 and it it still amazes me! I've had quite a few relatives live into their late 90's but no one as yet has made it to 100. The closest was an aunt who died 2 weeks prior to her 100th birthday. That generation of my family is all gone now, and the oldest of the next generation is only 85.
