Got to accept the inevitable, a 3 hour plane flight is the logical way to go as i'm no longer physically capable of driving that type of distance. Last time i did a plane trip was 1976, i dont like flying,i'll ask the doc tomorrow for some anti anxiety pills probably Atavan..

Good decision. Also talk to him/her about why you're urinating so frequently and if there are any meds to help. Doesn't sound good to me. Good luck.

I get the urge to pee frequently when I am on a trip. It doesn't matter if I'm flying or on a road trip.

Most of the time when I get the urge and go into a rest room, my bladder isn't full at all. I'm sure it's just nerves but it drives me nuts! I take Atavan when I"m flying, (I'm not afraid to fly, but take one so I can sleep) but it still doesn't make any difference with my nerves. I still get the urge to pee.

I am very careful not to drink caffeine or alcoholic beverages either, but nothing seems to help.

Probably is a side effect of all the medication i'm taking particularly the high blood pressure meds and the diuretics.

If you're taking HCTZ, that will definitely do it.

Glad you found a solution to your travel needs, hope you have a safe trip!
