People who keep fit could add some height I suppose. I've lost a couple inches and I'm 77 and went thru a hip replacement MESS....and spine is so much more compressed. With age MOST lose height.

Yes, but that's an oddity.

Some circus acts had "Midgets" but later in life (Int heir 30's-40's) they experience "Late Growth" and some grew 1' or more in 5 years thus rendering them "Short person" and no longer a "Midget" and thus, out of the circus.

My sister grew about 2.5 inches in her early 30s. It's still odd for me to look at her. I always think she's wearing heels, because she's taller than I expect. She didn't do anything special in order for this to happen.

I've never heard of anybody else who did it, though.

Scott Kelly the astronaut grew 2 inches due to weightlessness, so anything is possible.

Because I PREVIOUSLY had been 5.7.5" which I posted earlier in the thread. I was just pointing out that AFTER this I had gained height, and had been measured on different occasions, showing it wasn't a fluke.

Measurement error, different time of day, standing up a bit straighter...half an inch is not enough to matter anyway...but it helped his BMI calculation!
