Our govt has to "protect" us. They think. My docs have always given me what I've needed for pain or prescs. needed for Canada.
The facility I was going to for care & scripts decided to stop dealing with pain management, because of what the federal government has done with the regulations. They are just dealing with general health now. I simply cannot travel the distance I would need to, in order to go to another facility. I am extremely limited in my mobility. I have to be horizontal 99% of the time, unless I am using noodles under my arms in our heated pool.
I live in Toronto. I asked my pharmacist about this " Can a Canadian pharmacy fill a US Doctor's prescription ' ? His answer was a firm NO. He went on to tell me that it is not only unethical, but actually unlawful, to do that with out the US patient actually being seen in person by a Canadian Doctor.
SOME Canadian MD's will talk to a US MD over the phone, to confirm that the script is genuine, and to check the dosage. If the Canadian MD is satisfied he will issue a Canadian script. In that case , the US patient does not have to come to Canada, in person. The problem with this is obvious, which MD in Canada do you contact ?
A further point..........There are a number of online pharmacies that CLAIM to be located in Canada, but in fact are in the USA, or as far away as India. Buyer beware is the word in this case. The test is if the actual medication container has a Canada Drug Identification Number on the container.

Do you take other natural COX 2 inhibitors? I just posted a list in the Alternative section.
