I am turning 35 and I am not saying I am old at all, in fact I still think very young, but, I am starting to realize that my body certainly is starting to age.

In the past 6 months:
- I realized I can no longer run as I started to have knee problems
- My voice is starting to change becoming raspier and hoarse
- I broke my rib
- My sex drive while still good is nowhere near it was 5-10 years ago

Curious when people started to realize "hey I am starting to age now".

50 for me when I went from perfect health to developing 3 chronic conditions literally diagnosed over night when I was in great physical shape. Ugh!

I read it’s 50. I’m 60 now with no health problem. I’m not on drugs of any kind.

I'm 53. Feel like I'm 30-35, only smarter.

I'm 72. I don't know what 72 is supposed to feel like. I feel good, probably not as much energy as I had when I was 8 but ok.

Well, in a way we always feel "our age". Because it is ours, not someone else's, and body and brain came along for the ride. Considering that I haven't been this age before I have no idea what it is supposed to feel like. I can say that many other people "my age" seem worse off. Others seem better off. Doesn't really matter because I'm not swapping bodies any time soon. A body is supposed to be used and use is going to leave marks.

Age is largely a mindset. Physically, you will begin to digress starting in your late 20s to early 30s. There isn't much you can do about that. However, how and at what pace is largely up to you and how you choose to treat yourself. The only thing I notice is that I don't heal as quickly. So, I transitioned away from some of the more physically abusive exercise I used to do. For example, I run less and cycle more because it is much easier on my joints. I also eased up on the late nights. Booze and lack of sleep will put the years on your exterior, no question about it. I started doing all of that around 35. In more than a decade later, I'm still as vibrant and healthy as I was at 30. I just treat myself a whole lot better.

I'm 32 and some of my medical issues make me feel like 102. Thankfully I have good energy and am fit but have some unusual medical problems for someone my age, caused by auto immune problems.
