Has anyone here donated blood plasma? If so, what are the drawbacks in general and to long term donating?

I'm a blood donor....I can't see where it's any different! There is no harm at all to you, as long as you weigh 110 or over. If you weigh less than that, donating can cause dizziness or fainting.

How about at the sight where they put the needle? Does it harm the veins to re-stick it so often? As in scarring?

They use a smaller needle to draw plasma. That's the only difference I recall.
