What is the first major injury/illness you had?

As a kid, measles, mumps, chicken pox. Never had any surgeries until 10 days ago at the age of 56, a quad bypass.

I guess scarlet fever at age 5 for illness or age 14 with kidney stones

Only real major injury was age 29 when a machine guard malfunctioned and my right index finger was mostly amputated. Luckily, it was successfully reattached. The bad thing about it? I was pregnant at the time and couldn't take anything for pain. It didn't really hurt (too badly) until they reattached it...then it throbbed like a SOB for the next 4 weeks
