At age 40, why do you need any drugs? Improve your lifestyle. Eat healthy, quit smoking and drinking (if you do), exercise . . .no reason for this problem unless you have an underlying disease.
While erectile dysfunction can occur at any age, it is uncommon among young men and more common in the elderly. By age 45, most men have experienced erectile dysfunction at least some of the time. According to the Massachusetts Male Aging Study, complete impotence increases from 5% among men 40 years of age to 15% among men 70 years and older. I have tried all of them but hate the side effects: headaches, stuffiness, out of it. After prostate cancer surgery, I have needed them. I have had to up the dose though. Doc is glad that they work as I would have to do the shots and implant otherwise. UGH
I never needed to use Viagra, but have used it and always found it increased staying power and prolonged orgasms. At the ripe age of 58 I recently used some after going several years without it. The bottle actually had an expiration date of 2007 but it still had a good effect on me. So good my wife asked me not to take it again, LOL.
I had a bf yrs ago in clinical trials for viagra and he was found dead by his daughter. There are many ways other than these drugs to help the issue. He was in his late 50's and could have had a heart issue and this drug I think pushed him over.
There is a natural way to treat ED and it's effective. It's called Yohimbe, BUT it has it's side effects just like the prescription stuff. I tried it a few times years ago just to see if it worked or not and it does.
