I haven’t done anything different. Always exercised, use hand sanitizer, don’t particularly eat well and don’t eat much vegetables at all but I haven’t been bed ridden sick in 7 years. I get colds but they really don’t amount to much. Last cold was a year and a half ago. My husband had the flu and I was completely exposed to it. I got a 100 fever on and off for one day, felt like crap and thought I was getting it but the next day no signs of anything. I haven’t had to call into work in 3 years. I used to only be able to go maybe a year or 2 without getting such a bad sinus infection and fever I needed 2 days off. Everyone is sick around me at work. Flu, step, Scarlett fever, colds, bronchitis, I haven’t caught it. I’m not complaining but I just wonder what has changed. I’m 43 and trying to loose 40 lbs. borderline diabetic and hypothyroidism. I just worry because I know someone who hadn’t been sick in 14 years and now can barely move because of arthritis.
OP, I never get sick and haven't been sick with flu since Asian Flu in 1957, I deal with arthritis and have been for 60 some yrs. I take a lot of supplements for over 25 yrs now and I'm 79. I take thyroid med and BP meds and those are long stories in themselves...take care.

Less exposure to the outside public? not around sick people as much? no longer working around others? I guess the less you're around others the likelihood of acquiring anything is lower....that's probably my reason.....I used to get a 1-2 day really nasty flu-like dizziness, vomiting spell that came out of nowhere...but a day or two later, resolved. But those where the days I was around sick people all day long (as a health care provider).
I'm pretty good w/ handwashing and use hand sanitizer a lot when I'm out and about and take the flu shot annually.
