I suffer from Low T , fatigue and joint pain. get the pains in my all of my joints. I also get very tired in the afternoon, requiring sleeping in the fetal position. I constantly have the urge to stretch all day long, and have problems staying seated for a long time.
I am trying to find out what the heck is going on with me. I could not tolerate steroids cream, but just finished a vitamin D prescription. I am trying to figure out what could be causing my aches and fatigue. This is making my life miserable. Any one experienced something like this, or know of some one? any help as to what it might be? I am going to an upcoming endo specialist, but still have to go through additional testing.
Are you talking low testosterone? Once a prescription D is finished maintenance of D levels is important. I'll send you a DM as we're not permitted to talk alternatives here.
I live with joint pains and mine is advancing arthritis and supposedly fibro syndrome.
Thyroid dsyfunction is so missed in our population and if you look at all the conditions of HypoT, fatigue and pain are right in them. There are some 60 symptoms.
the t cream dont work for my, caused me to have a severe pressure headache. I am done with the Vitamin D prescription, but I am waiting for an Endocrinologist to do testing. I have arthritis, but not in those locations. I do not test positive for RA, nor do I have those tell tale signs. I am a middle aged male. It sucks. I still have my sex drive, and dont need help in hat department. It is very hard to find a solution, going from doctor to doctors.

Finding the right doctor is Major, and even joining some support groups and talk to others too. I've learned so much from health groups and also my integrative MD.
DH got tested and he was on the very low end of normal. Ins. just approved T injections and monitoring. Is there a reason you had cream instead of injections?
I would guess that your symptoms are not all related. Good luck.

The gel is easier to apply daily, I had low dosage. After 2 days, I had a severe headache, cold shower and tylonels did not relieve the pain, could not even lay down. My other doctor says, testosterone cream is not needed for low t , if my libido was intact.
I have many symtoms, that can be 20 different illnesses. Dont know if it is RA, or OA, or OS, or CFS. I do suffer from 2 radiculopathies as well. I hope an endocrinologist can figure out my issues, this SUCKS big time.
I happened to see this old thread and have a suggestion. I'm not a doctor, just a person who had joint pain at a young age and found out I had a condition called Iron overload.
Some people are genetically prone to accumulating iron called hemochromatosis. My doctor found my ferritin level was very high. I didn't have this disease, thank goodness, but a less common cause for iron overload. In my case, a dozen phlebotomies reversed my joint pain.
Anyway, perhaps google the term hemochromatosis and see if symptoms fit your experience. Also, ferritin level is not usually a standard blood test. Iron level is standard test, but not the same test as ferritin level.
