Should an EMG test feel like you're being tazered?

When I was tasered, I had absolutely no control over my body, I became a board and just fell over like a tree, I was unable to speak or yell. While not sure, I don't believe I could see (maybe my brain was preoccupied with the pain), I could hear, cause I heard the guy lowering my to the ground. If I could have spoke I believe I would have said "I change my mind....."

I have watched about 200 people being tasered, and some are able to yell a little and utter profanities, but mostly not.

If you were screaming, talking or moving, it is not like being tasered.

Yeah, EMG's and NCS's suck. I've had way too many over the last 20 years. One trick is to shop around...a chatty neurologist and NCS technician can be distracting and make the whole miserable experience easier.

Pretty much, they are putting a direct zap on your nerves.
