I have a few questions .

I have a friend of mine who’s freaking out that he took 1-3 puffs of s thc oil pen about 4-5 weeks ago and he is have a regular routine physical with his personal DR and is worried that he will see thc in his urine and report it so when his new career starts running his background check in the comming months they will see his report that he had thc in his syststem ? Is this true or possible ?

He’s going to get a medical clearance to take a PT test for police academy and is worried about the thc being reported in his medical records and revealed

Hair is possible, urine is HIGHLY unlikely. I can't say it's impossible, no one can.

He already took the puffs. He can either delay the physical, or quit stressing about it, because stressing is useless. But it's highly unlikely to show in the urine.

If Dr only runs routine urinalysis it won't show up. If doc is screening for drugs (which is very rare) it probably won't

But, if you can't do the time, don't do the crime

Right - is the doctor doing this FOR the OP or is the doctor doing this as work for someone who is interested in the OP's possible drug use?

You don't have to agree to any test if you don't want it and the doctor shouldn't be ordering tests that you don't want and you don't authorize. Drug testing is not "incidental" and doesn't just show up -they are specific tests that must be requested.

It’s for a friend of mine , he is going for a routine physical with his own DR, but the reason he made the appointment is to get a medical clearance to take a fitness test . This is not ordered by the future job . But es concerned the future job can look into his medical records and find out he had thc in his urine at his last physical

I used 600 mg CBD oil for about 2 months before I took a drug test for a new job. Failed for marijuana. I contacted the manufacturer and they said in a few rare instances that can happen. Google how long MJ stays in the system. I was using the oil daily for pain.

Your friend might want to buy a home test so he can privately check his urine and know what results he's likely to see. It wouldn't be too surprising if the police department he's applying with does a hair test. If the hair on his head is too short, they'll take hair from somewhere else.

Uhm...your friends medical records are private. They cannot be disclosed to anyone without his permission.

If, down the road, someone wants him to have a physical and a drug screen in order to take some physical strength test, they can order it (and pay for it).

Chill.

I doubt a doc runs a drug analysis for a routine physical. Plus his medical records will be private.

The job will only see the results of the drug test they have him do.

So they can’t ask or request your personal doctor submit medical records from his last physical if it’s physical he took on his own
