Lately my pants feel tight when I sit....same clothes that didn’t feel that way before nor did they shrink. I thought I had gained a few lbs but when I weight myself I was 15 lbs less than I was 3 months ago. Confirmed on the scale at the Dr office. Could I be bloated? Hopefully not a serious health issue.

You were weighed at the doctor's office; what did the doctor say?

At any rate you need to go get checked out again because yes, this could signal a serious health issue.

How old are you? I had the same experience and it turned out to be fibroids enlarging rapidly while I was losing weight.

15lbs is quite a bit for a 3month period, either direction, gaining or losing. If the number is correct, something significant happened in your lifestyle or diet.

Losing muscle and gaining fat at the same time could be an explanation.

How old are you? My doctor called it Middle Age Spread. My muscle mass declined, so fatty tissue in the middle just re balanced the total weight.

Have you been bulking up muscle-wise? Maybe a new lifting routine that would make your muscles larger than before thus making pants tighter?

He would have gained weight then, not lost.
Muscle is heavier than fat.

It sounds like something like a fibroid, tumor, cyst, etc while you are losing weight. I have a friend who had a large, benign tumor before she realized what was going on. With fibroids, you would probably notice excess bleeding.
