I have a physical coming up but for about a month now it feels like a rug burn in the area. Not a large area but maybe the side of the circle on a coke can. Nothing visible on the skin though. It doesn’t hurt if I press on it but it seems irritated by clothes or if I lay on that side. Yesterday when laying I could have sworn It felt but standing it doesn’t feel any different in size from the other side. Any thoughts? Of course I think of the worst. Been feeling a bit more bloated than usual also.

One time I had some irritation in my intestines...I had the same thing.
What is not commonly known...sounds so simple...is that these inflamed areas radiate thru layers.

I'm into natural things, so you don't have to listen to me...capsules or tea with turmeric kills bacteria...2 caps 3 times a day, tho.

Tho, it seems contra-indicated I placed moist heat on the area to speed things up,
bring more white blood cells to the area to do their 'Pac Man' thing and eat up the bacteria.
It went away.
It helped to say you were bloated, smart of you.

Acidophilus always helps...not sugary yogurt, btw...new name is Pro-biotics.
Me? I would not take any antibiotics the MD might prescribe...it will kill all the healthy bacteria.

But, they are replaceable once the course is completed.

Sounds like nerve or intestinal issues to me. I’d honestly try a few days of a cleanse followed by routinely taking probiotics to see if it’s intestinal. I personally like the advocare 10 day cleanse which combines healthy, clean eating with fiber and probiotic supplements. I do it 4 times a year, every 90 days, to jump start my healthy habits and gut health. Others may disagree but it works for DH and I.
