12 years ago. It ruptured and my abdomen was filled with puss. I think I was past the point where abx could help me.

I was in 2nd grade when mine ruptured- we lived w/i walking distance of the hospital - my parents were told I could have died had I not gotten there so quickly.

Mine ruptured and was taken out about 30 years ago. I haven't missed it.
