Possible to Crack or Chip Your Nose Bone? (pain, sore, surgery)

Last Sun. I fell face down in my yard. I bruise my cheek and knocked my glasses both off and bent. The spot on my nose is still red and sore where my glasses rest. I don't want to spend money unnecessarily so I was wondering if it's possible to put a crack in the nose bone. It's not broken, no raccoon eyes but painful. If it's more likely to be bruised, I will just take more pain pills. Never knew anyone this had happened to! The nose not the falling.

Yes. You can "crack" the cartilage. I've had my nose broken three (or is it four?) times over the years.

Yes, you can also break the bone over the bridge of your nose. I did this as a kid and had to have surgery to realign it. Here's a helpful link.

Do go see a doctor if the pain persists, your nose looks crooked or you have trouble breathing.
