Did she have a living will?

She should have one so she can determine her own outcome

We both have living wills and medical POAs stating no life support

EVERYONE should have a Living will and Medical POA!

Does the sister realize she's making her suffer with pain inside with this lingering on.

The sister is probably afraid of her own potential pain (at her upcoming loss), not anyone else's.

This is another reminder that we ALL need a Living Will and Healthcare Power of Attorney. Research carefully what you would want and choose someone who will honor your wishes when the time comes.

A real update which is very big Shock that lady has come out of coma. She is now talking and walking her son has told me. She must have not taken alot of antifreeze in the first place. The hospital is in Florida. Will she be placed in a mental hospital for trying too kill herself?

I would think with ingesting anti-freeze you would not die of hypothermia.

I am very glad for her son and her sister that she made it out of the coma! What do the doctors say about her brain damage? I truly believe where there is life, there's hope. I wouldn't want everyone to pull the plug on me, nor would I want to burden my family. Hard to tell what's right. My prayers are with this family.
