My mother has a great wrist one that comes in a case - very easy to use and she says it reads the same as the Dr. office readings (she takes it with her because supposedly the wrist ones aren't as accurate) - I'll find out the brand, etc. when I talk to her next (I actually want one myself, MUCH easier than the wrap around your upper arm and squeeze the bulb thing)
There are so many options online that trying to decide can give you high blood pressure!
I don't need any bells and whistles...it will be one-user machine and I don't need to upload the readings.
I do want the type you can just slip on your arm and not have to adjust every time?
Thanks!
My first is Omeron still works fine after many, many years. Now that my BP is of concern I bought another Omeron BP 761N which has expandable upper arm cuff and can be used by 2 people.
New on ebay for $38.
They have always matched doctors measurement.
Our doctor recommended this AND-UA767 BP monitor. Simple, e-z to use. Wrap around arm once and then you can slip in and out as needed and get accurate readings. Cost about $30.00. https://www.aandd.jp/products/medica...mer/UA767.html
Go with Omron Series 5. Inexpensive, easy to use and durable as hell.
For rest of you, never go with wrist. Usually not as accurate as upper arm because of bone being close to surface.
