Point blank. Go back to being social friends.
I say this as a former gf to a gent who had various intimacy challenges. So not worth it...

Absolutely. But he also has OCD and takes really long showers bc he has to wash parts of his body over and over again. So not sure if he’d want me in with him

Sounds like cholinergic urticaria.

Somewhat unusual, more prevalent in men, and, exercise or a situation conducive to sweating causes itchy welts and is sometimes accompanied by autonomic nervous system manifestations like nausea, shortness of breath, hypotension, if it is severe (but this degree of severity is rather unusual). Loss of erectile function under these circumstances is entirely possible, although I've never heard of it.

The exact cause of cholinergic urticaria is not known. It is best avoided by avoiding situations where sweating occurs (usually exercise) but in his case, sex apparently sets it off, too and that's by no means unusual. Throw off the heavy sheets and crack open the window (as others have suggested).

Please refer him to a Doctor for the sweaty body issues and a therapist for the OCD. Its nice that you are being a good friend but he needs a little more help that you can give. Good luck.

It's always fun when the OP has all the answers. I'm not sure what they get out of it to be honest.

Oh wow I’ve never heard of this. I’ll definitely look into it more and learn more about it. And if he’s up for advice or suggestions I might run it by him. Thanks! We have cracked a window wide actually and we never use sheets or blankets. It’s always on top of sheets and blankets
