You don't need to make a formal announcement because a rep pissed you off. Keep it to yourself please ignore the fool
Yet so kind of you to share your experiences and knowledge. Good job!
Why should she keep it to herself? The purpose of rep comments isn't to allow posters to anonymously be rude to other posters. In fact, that's against TOS, so hopefully she will report it.
Over a month ago, someone posted on here requesting information about breast implants. Since I have one due to cancer surgery, I answered and pointed out that MRI's were recommended every 2 - 3 years for those with silicone implants. Someone anonymously just left me a comment saying BS and I should keep my mouth shut. I would like to point out to this person that the FDA website says as a recommendation to physicians to:
"Screen for silent rupture using MRI. Women with silicone gel-filled breast implants should undergo MRI screening for silent implant ruptures at 3 years post-implantation, and every 2 years thereafter."

It wasn't the Rep, it was the comments and this craziness goes on here all the time
If someone wants to say something they should have the balls to let you know who they are, especially if snarky or nasty comments!

It's strictly against the C-D rules to use a rep to leave unkind comments anonymously.
You can rest assured that the person who did that to you has done it to others. You should report it and a moderator can look to see who did it.
I know some people dont like to be considered tattletales but those anonymous ugly rep comments can be hurtful and the person who sends them should be stopped.
I've had to report someone who frequently posts on the Health forum for giving me reps to leave mean anonymous messages. (Sometimes it's obvious who left the comment even if she did so anonymously.) It hasnt stopped her as I've seen other people post that she's done it to them too -- but the guilty party can be sanctioned for continuing to do so.
A nasty rep comment is considered a personal attack. If someone does it to you, contact a mod. A mod can determine who gave you that rep and will infract them for it.
OP, when I have the time, I will find out who did that to you. It will be harder because I will have to look through the reps--so in the future if someone leaves you a negative rep, please contact a mod asap.
^^^^ If ever there was a contradiction, this post is it !!!
I agree. A slap on the back with one hand and a slap on the face with the other.
