Personally, at 66 I would not do anything if I had a positive result for either test, but I have so many spine issues that I am not into prolonging my life much any more. Eight levels of titanium is enough; and I still have pain each and every day. Luckily, nobody in my family on any side has had colon cancer. I have the ColoGuard sitting on my desk at home now x 3 months.

We are getting off topic talking about other aches and pains but I totally agree with you.. I did have a colonoscopy about 4 or so years ago: all went well but due to a few issues it was suggested I get it repeated in 3 years. Well that went in one ear and out the other. At my age (82) I will live with what God deals to me. WE do not have a cancer history in our family and we most doctors agree colon cancer is very slow growing. Though I am in relatively good health I have enough aches and pains to keep me going for awhile.
