I went to somebody’s house where several people were chain-smoking for 3 hours and a decent amount of smoke was blowing in my face. What can I do to reverse whatever damage may have been caused? I know it was just one night but I’m just concerned.

You go about your life, that's what. Chances are you're exposed to just as much airborne carcinogens on any given day as you did in those 3 hours.

HELP! I breathed in second-hand smoke yesterday. What to do?

Don't do it again.

I have been an involuntary second-hand smoker just about all of my life. That's what I get for
living around the grubby, lower socioeconomic-class.

Upper middle-class and above has basically abandoned smoking. The class of people I live around.....I would be very shocked if the smoking-rate was anything less than 75%.

Better start looking for a lung donor.

Plan your funeral now, you’re doomed.

But if this is a serious post...just avoid doing it again and you’ll be fine.

If you were that concerned you should have left - of course there's nothing you can do now but complain! Have the courage of your convictions, at least (even if they are mostly irrational).
