I went to somebody’s house where several people were chain-smoking for 3 hours and a decent amount of smoke was blowing in my face. What can I do to reverse whatever damage may have been caused? I know it was just one night but I’m just concerned.
I have been an involuntary second-hand smoker just about all of my life. That's what I get for
living around the grubby, lower socioeconomic-class.
Upper middle-class and above has basically abandoned smoking. The class of people I live around.....I would be very shocked if the smoking-rate was anything less than 75%.

If you were that concerned you should have left - of course there's nothing you can do now but complain! Have the courage of your convictions, at least (even if they are mostly irrational).
